Albert Charles Lang Sr. , 81, was born December 4, 1939 in Drayton, North Dakota.   He passed away peacefully at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida on May 17, 2021.  He was born to Albert and Myrtle Lang, he was the 3rd of 10 children.  Albert graduated from Estelline High School in South Dakota in 1957. He joined the Marine Corp in 1958.

He married Elleanor Phillips of Live Oak, FL in 1960.  They were married for 33 years. They had 2 sons, Chuck and Mark.

Al was foreman of McGregor Printing Corporation in York, Alabama for nearly 10 years.  He then assisted with opening a printing plant in Maryland and he eventually became their Northern Regional Manager. He worked for McGregor for 26 years and then became a construction inspector for the State of Maryland.

Al married Joy Janssen in 1996 and they were married for 25 years.  They retired to Florida in 2013.  Al loved to hunt and fish.  He loved airplanes and took flying lessons.

Al is survived by wife Anita Joyce Janssen; son Mark (Jennifer) Lang of Sebastian, FL; grandson Devon Lang of Sebastian, FL;  brothers John (Rosemary) Lang , Arlan (Karen) Lang and Lee Lang; sisters Jackie Shanno, Colleen Peterson and Louise Shanno.  He is pre-deceased by son, Albert Charles (Chuck) Lang, Jr. ; brother Larry Lang and sisters Myrtle Snider and Alberta Lang.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 1:00pm followed by service at 2:00pm at Seawinds Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.
