Alfred (Al) Lester Block, 91, passed away on October 19, in Vero Beach, FL. He was born on September 21, 1935, in Milwaukee, WI to Lester and Ida Block.

He worked in the field of real estate for most of his life. He was a managing broker for Robedeaux Realty in Milwaukee, until relocating to Three Lakes, WI where he founded A.L. Block Realty, Inc. He served the needs of customers in the Northwoods until his retirement in 2000.

He married his bride Judith Ann Dunn on April 12, 1958. Together they enjoyed raising their family, fishing, hunting, and serving others. Al was a member of the Three Lakes Lions Club for 50 years and also served in the Sebastian FL Lions Club for 20 years.

Al is survived by his wife Judy of Sebastian, FL; his sister Judy Wylde of Dunedin, FL; his brother Larry (Lynn) Block of Marathon City, WI; his children Cathy (Rob) Riordan of Brussels, WI; David (Kay) Block of Sebastian, FL; and Jim (Sue) Block of Bloomer, WI. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters; Joan and Joyce.

A funeral will be held this summer in the Northwoods.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Three Lakes Lions Club, St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church of Eagle River, WI or the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
