Alfred J. Marano "Fred", 94, passed away on April 29, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Marano was born on June 21, 1918 in Waterbury, CT.
He had been a resident of Barefoot Bay, FL., for the past 29 years coming from Waterbury, CT.
Before retiring Mr. Marano worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Jacob's Manufacturing Company, and also taught Ballroom dancing in Sebastian and Barefoot Bay for many years.
He served his country in the United States Army/Air Force
He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for 25 years., member of the Italian/American club in Sebastian and Barefoot Bay., member of the American Legion, Barefoot Bay, member of the New England Club, member of the 4th degree Knights Of Columbus St Joseph Council 7408.
Mr. Marano is survived by daughters, Theresa "teri" Murphy, Barefoot Bay, FL., Sandra "Sandy" Sheehan, Sebastian, FL., 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
