With profound love and sadness, we announce that Alfred Lloyd Killian , 91, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, with his family by his side.
Born on October 2nd, 1934, in Highland Park, Illinois, he was the beloved son of Lloyd Albert and Alice Maude Stupple Killian and older brother to Thomas (Beverly) and Lloyd (Yvonne).
Alfred was a devoted husband of Joan (nee Graham) Killian for 63 years and loving father of Alfred (Suzanne) Killian, Susan (Robert) Sandahl and Charles (Charity) Killian. He is survived by his grandchildren Alexander, Rebecca, Colin, Brent (Allyson) Matthew, Lauren, William and his great granddaughter Veronika.
Alfred graduated Highland Park High school (class of 1952) and went on to attend the University of Illinois where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Based in Chicago, Alfred traveled quite extensively throughout the United States where he excelled as a commercial auditor working in the banking industry.
Alfred is remembered for his quiet strength and dedication to his family. He was an avid Master class Bridge player and advocate of the neighborhood animals of ALL types. A lover of the outdoors, he was sportsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom picking. With a sharp mind for numbers he is remembered for his generosity and willingness to carry on a conversation with any willing ear.
His love for his family was the cornerstone of Alfred's life, and his memory will be treasured forever by all who knew him.
A Memorial service will be held Friday November 21st, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian Florida at 3 pm located at 1405 Louisiana Ave, Sebastian, FL 32958.
