Mr. Mercado was born February 24, 1927 in New York, NY.
Prior to retiring, he worked for CAMAC Corporation in Huntington Station, NY as Foreman of Silk Screening.
Mr. Mercado served in the Air Force and was of Catholic Faith.
He is survived by, his wife of 61 years, Gloria E. Mercado, Sebastian, FL, son, Gregg Mercado, Islip, NY, and daughters, Angela Mercado-Zagger, St. James, NY, and Theresa O'Neill, Great River, NY.
A visitation will be held, Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, Sebastian, FL.
