Anne C. Oberst, 85, of Micco/Barefoot Bay, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Life Care Center of Palm Bay. She was born on April 12, 1926, in Manhattan, KS, and moved to Barefoot Bay 25 years ago from Stillwater, OK. Anne was a medical electrologist and ran her own business in Stillwater, OK. She was a 1946 graduate of Kansas State University and member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at Kansas State. she was also a member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church in Sebastian. Anne is survived by her husband of 64 years, Fayne Oberst, daughter Diane O. Erickson of Paluski, TN, two sons Dr. Richard D. Oberst of Manhattan, KS, and Mark D. Oberst of Micco, FL, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A memorial service at St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church will be announced
