Anthony John Capozzoli, 92, of Sebastian, FL, passed away March 23, 2017 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL, surrounded by his loving wife, Josephine, and his daughter, Dr. Mary Ingui, and son-in-law, Bill.
Anthony was born on June 24, 1924 in Manhattan, NY. During World War II, he served as a Technical Sergeant with the 346th Infantry Regiment 87th Infantry Division from 1943 to 1945, where he saw action under Patton in the Battle of the Bulge. After the war, he attended the New York Radio Institute in Manhattan. He had a radio, TV and stereo repair business (Actel TV) until his retirement in 1987. In 1991, Anthony and his wife "Joan" moved to Sebastian, Florida.
Anthony is a lifetime member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign War and the Italian-American War Veterans.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, his daughter and son-in-law, and his grandson, Thomas Anthony Ingui.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Anthony's life by gathering for a Memorial Service, with Veteran's Honor Guard, at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, 901 Clearmont Street, Sebastian, FL 32958 on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 am, with reception to follow.
Donations may be made in Anthony's name to St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church.
