Anthony D. Dato, 89, of Sebastian, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1921, in Hoboken, NJ, and moved to Sebastian 10 years ago from Micco, FL. Anthony was a master butcher. He was a WWII Army veteran serving in General Patton's army. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy Dato of Sebastian, children Barbara Shubert, Linda Francis, Gail Cavallo, Bill Dato, Robert Dato, and Sue Barlotta, 22 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son Donald Dato. Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2011 at 9:30AM at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian. Prayer service will commence at 10 AM.
