Anthony Regina, 86 of Vero Beach Florida was born to the late Dominic Regina and Maria Fazio Regina on March 24, 1938. Tony along with his two sisters Clara and Maria, brothers Marino, Ralph, Rocco and Vito were raised in Bari Italy and had the opportunity to experience and learn the beautiful family tradition of growing and harvesting olives on the family farm.
Tony came to America in 1956 on the Andrea Doria Ship and survived the sinking that the ship encountered off the coast of Nantucket Massachusetts. Tony married his late wife Adele and raised his son Anthony and daughter Marie in Staten Island N.Y. He lived in Piscataway, NJ. for 30 years with his current wife, Peggy and was employed at Revlon as a Lead Supervisor for 26 years before retiring and settling in Vero Beach Florida.
Tony spent his leisure time hunting Upstate NY with his brothers, family and friends, enjoying family time, gardening and working on home projects. He also loved sharing his food of labor with friends and family and had a natural gift of attracting people who loved him.
Tony was predeceased by his brother Marino, Grandson Thomas, son John, daughter Debbie, grandson Corey and great granddaughter Jillian.
Tony is survived by his wife Peggy, brothers Ralph, Rocco and Vito. Sisters Clara and Maria. Children Marie and husband Jim. Anthony and wife Cathy. Melody and husband Jim. Grand Children Cassandre, Ashley and husband Marc, Nicole, Blaine, Tyler and wife Ari, Jimmy, Amanda, Nicole and Jennifer. Great Grand Children, Stephen, Ethan, and Riley.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Costello Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. A Prayer Service will begin at 1:30 followed by Interment at Clover Leaf Memorial Park.
