Arlene Amoretti, 82, of Barefoot Bay, FL., passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 with her family by her side. Arlene was born to the late Simon and Ethel Klayman on March 7, 1939 in Cincinnati, OH.  She graduated from Woodward High School in Cincinnati in 1957.

She moved to Miami in the early 1960's and worked for the North Miami Beach Police Department in the records division as well as working in the office for an insurance company and a retail department store.

Arlene moved to Hollywood, FL where she met the late Frank Amoretti and they married in 1998, before relocating to Barefoot Bay, FL in 2004 where they spent their retirement years. They loved to go dancing and checking out Doo Wop bands when they came to town.

Arlene enjoyed playing Mahjong and Bingo and also traveling including a visit to Israel and Paris, France and loved to go on cruises with Frankie. She also loved to go shopping and couldn't pass up the jewelry counter at her favorite stores.

Arlene is survived by her children, Scott Kurtz and Bradley Kurtz (and wife Laurie); three grandchildren, Jillian Kurtz, Jack Kurtz and Joshua Kurtz, her brother Irv Klayman (and wife Suzette), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial Minyan service will be held virtually via Zoom from Temple Beth Sholom in Melbourne, FL at a later date.
