Arthur E. Bannister passed away March 30, 2015 at the age of 83.

Arthur was a resident of Barefoot Bay since 1995 moving from Lake Station, Indiana. Prior to retirement he was employed for Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana as a crane operator. He also served our county in the U.S. Army. Arthur was a member of Church of Christ of Sebastian.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Mary Bannister; sons Duane Bannister, and Darrell Bannister; daughters Valorie Grant, Velinda Yockey, Veronica Kelly, Marilyn King, Daisy Kwasigroch, Gail Holman, and Jolene Corbett; brothers Russell Bannister and Bobby Bannister; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
