Barbara A. Evers, 73, Barefoot Bay, FL., passed away on April 15, 2013 at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian, FL.
Mrs. Evers was born in New York City, New York on October 22, 1939.
She was a resident of Barefoot Bay, FL., for the past 12 years coming from Stuart, FL.
Before retiring she worked as an Interior Decorator. After retiring Mrs. Evers volunteered at the Sebastian Inlet State Park Treasure Museum
She attended St. Luke's Catholic Church
She was a member of the Red Hats Club of Barefoot Bay, FL., Life member of the Women's Auxiliary Sebastian, FL.
Mrs. Evers is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kurt Evers, Barefoot Bay, FL., daughter, Donna Steenkamp, South Africa, daughter Cheryl Wheless, Winter Garden, FL., and 4 granddaughters.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 10:00 am to 12:00 with a Service at 12:00 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel with Burial to follow at Sebastian Cemetery.
