Barrie L. Thompson Sr, 80, of Micco, FL, passed away February 13, 2018 at his residence.  Barrie was born July 4, 1937 in Mount Pleasant, PA and had been a resident of Florida since 1987 after moving here from Vineland, NJ, where he worked and retired from the West Company in Millville, NJ.  He is survived by his high school sweet heart and loving wife of 62 years Rennie Thompson; two daughters, Melanie Thompson of Roanoke, VA, Aimee Thompson of Las Vegas, NV and sons, Barrie Thompson Jr (wife Chris) of Micco, FL, Thomas Thompson (wife Corrina), of Greensburg PA, Tony Thompson (wife Elyse) of Marlton, NJ; and Jason Thompson Lund, Orlando; 12 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.  Barrie was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cruising with Rennie.   A private family viewing will be on Friday and with a memorial celebration held at Pelican Bay Club House from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, February 17 ^th .  In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to VITAS Hospice, 4450 W.
