Barry A. Stokes, 84 of Barefoot Bay, FL passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 in Sebastian. He was born April 14, 1935 in Detroit, MI to Norman and Anna Stokes. During his life, Barry worked in sales, management and newspaper publishing. He had a passion for fishing and loved to cook and entertain. Barry was a member of the Lions, Eagles and the Barefoot Bay Boat and Fishing club.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Vera Stokes, Sons: Duane (Chris) Stokes of Howell, MI, John (Anne Marie) Stokes of Southfield, MI, Michael (Robin) Stokes of Lake Forest CA.,  Daughters: Gina Jewett and children, Ben and Christie of Charlotte of NC. 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother, Richard "Doc" Stokes and wife Sue of Middle Point OH.

Barry was preceded in death by his father, Norman J. Stokes, mother, Anna Wurst-Stokes, brothers, James and David Stokes and a sister Mary Ann Schnipke.

A memorial mass will be held, Monday, October 7th at St. Lukes Catholic church at 11:00 am with a reception held following the Mass.
