Obituary

Bernadine passed peacefully in her sleep to eternal rest during the evening of December 5 th 2021. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Bernadine graduated from Hanover Township High School and Bradford Beauty Academy.

Joseph  Ulgherait was enrolled at the Bradford Academy when he fell in love with Bernadine. They were married in the Holy Family Church in Sugar Notch in 1952. Leaving her job as secretary in the Hanover Township School District, Bernadine and Joseph moved to New Jersey. Joe began his management career with the Singer Sewing Machine Company in Nantioke.

Parenting a son, Anthony Duane, and daughter, Deborah forever changed Bernadine's life. Bernadine was a devoted mother, a great cook, and loving Grandmother to Matthew, Miles, Christopher and Bradley. Bernadine loved to roller skate and dance. She expressed her creative talents sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

After working for Air Products for years Bernadine retired to Barefoot Bay, Florida. Bernadine and Joe were active in the Polish American Club, the Italian American Club, The Citizens on Patrol Service, and for twenty five years performing in Barefoot Bay Little Theater Group.

Bernadine loved Bridge, all card games and Bingo. Bernadine's chili and macaroni salad were famous at St. Luke's Bingo nights. Lector and Eucharistic minister, Bernadine joyfully served St Luke's church community. Bernadine was honored to serve as President of the Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus Chapter 7408.

Bernadine was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends. A celebration of her Life will take place at a future date.
