Bobby R. Howard passed away on April 13, 2016 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Fl. He was born on June 27th, 1938 to Jarve and Vetrola Howard in East Bernstadt, Ky. He was raised in Evarts, Ky, attended Evarts High School, and served in the US Navy. He married Jo Tipton on October 18th, 1958. He retired from Ford in Connersville, IN. Since his retirement, he divided his time between Asheville, NC and Sebastian, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Jo; children, Mike (Ann) Howard of Connersville, IN, Kim (David) Wuertz of Asheville, NC, and Bill Howard (Annette) of Weaverville, NC; grandchildren, Bobby and Stacie Howard, Cecilia and Ian Anderson, and Samantha Kampf; great granddaughter, August Morgan; sisters, Doris McCreary, Mary Ann Dykes, and Judy (Melvin) Merz, all of Connersville, IN; and brother, Frank (Bonnie) Howard of Wallins Creek, KY.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on May 14th at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Asheville, NC, where he was a member. He was an associate member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vero Beach, FL.
