NADINE BLAIN WISE HARRELL
Nadine Blain Wise Harrell, 89, formerly of Huntington, West Virginia, died February 15, 2015 in Palm Bay, Florida. Born in Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia on March 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Roy H. and Josephine P. Blain.
She met her late husband, James Eldred Wise, at a state band festival where they played French horn in the West Virginia All-State Concert Band. In Huntington, she was a member of the choir and St. Ann's Guild at St. Peter's Episcopal Church and founder of the Mothers' Club..
After moving to Florida, she managed the hospitality staff at the Boca Raton Resort and Club in Boca Raton, Florida, was a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, and volunteered for the March of Dimes. In recent years, she lived in Sebastian and Palm Bay.
She was the widow of J. Eldred Wise and Charles E. Harrell, and was predeceased by a brother, Marshall P. Blain, of Huntington, West Virginia. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Josephine Wise, and husband, Daniel M. Fallon, of Secaucus, New Jersey; a son, James Roger Wise, and wife, Sandra, of Micco, Florida; a brother, Roy Herbert Blain, Jr. of Melbourne, Florida; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a date to be determined.
