Burl Butler Barhite, 90, of Barefoot Bay, FL died, Thursday August 30, 2012 at Sebastian River Medical Center. He was born in Beaumont, TX and later moved to Barefoot Bay, FL in 1985 from Miami, FL.

Mr. Barhite protected our country by enlisting in the United States Navy and served during World War II. Burl began his career as an Ironworker and was a member of the Union for Iron Workers after the serving in the military.

Survivors include his daughter Barbara Barker; one Granddaughter Julie Soviero; and two Great-grandchildren.
Burl was predeceased by his wife Doris D. Barhite.
