Carl Robert Henry Swanson, Sr.,85, of Sebastian, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born July 5,1925 in Walpole, MA and was a seasonal resident of Sebastian for 20 years coming from Walpole, MA.
Mr. Swanson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. He was the President of Swanson Contracting for 62 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Walpole, MA.
Survivors include his son Carl Swanson, Jr., of Walpole, MA; daughter Heidi A. Swanson of Vero Beach; and six grandchildren.
