May 1, 1946 – December 6, 2025
Carol Ann Gibson, 79, passed away on December 6, 2025 at home with her family by her side. She was born in Trenton, NJ and moved to Micco, FL in 1988 with her husband Roger. Carol was a faithful Christian, a beloved wife, a loving mother and a giving grandmother. She was dedicated and always went above and beyond her call of duty no matter what she was doing in life.
Carol loved serving the Lord in her church and had great compassion for anyone she came in contact with. There were no strangers in her life and she treated everyone with bright eyes, a big smile and a loving hug. She touched many lives and will never be forgotten. Carol loved to write children's stories and had two of her books published, "Marcie" and "Loopy." She also wrote for several newspapers and churches. She was a medical administrative assistant, a Women of the Moose, officer for the Micco Homeowners Association and volunteered in many ways at her church. She loved the Lord and wasn't afraid to show it.
Carol is survived by her son Richard LiMato and wife Tracey of Fellsmere, FL and her daughter Michelle Flood and husband Doug of Sebastian, FL. Grandchildren are Richard (MacKenize) LiMato, Ashley (Joe) Giuffrida, Matthew (fiance Kayla) LiMato, Sarah Flood, Hannah (fiance Colby) Flood, Misty Flood, Donnie (Katie) Flood and Brandi (James) Ooley. Great grandchildren are Rhett and Hayes LiMato, Joseph and Anthony Giuffrida, Cooper LiMato, Wyatt Eubanks, July Wise, Chandler (Hope) Flood, Ryder Flood, Nikki and Kayden Ooley. Great, great granddaughter Skylar Flood. Brother Thomas (Geraldine) Pawliski of New Egypt, NJ and sister Fran Skwirut of Whiting, NJ. She also has many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband Roger James Gibson, her parents George and Angelina Pawliski, brother George Pawliski, Richard
(Betty) Pawliski and James (Mildred) Pawliski.
A celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 2pm at Calvary Chapel Sebastian at 1251 Sebastian Blvd, Sebastian FL 32958. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Calvary Chapel Sebastian Expansion Fund.
