Carol Ann Wilson, 89, of Sebastian, crossed over in the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 17th. Carol was born in Pittsburg Pa. Oct. 7, in 1935, to Virginia (Smith) & John Sobble.  Growing up between Pittsburg and Florida, Carol graduated from high school in Dunnellon Fla., before earning her degree in fine art from the Art Institute of Pittsburg. This would be where she also met and married her husband Thomas Albert Wilson.

After art school, Carol exhibited and sold many original oil paintings, winning prizes at the Cleveland May Show, and more. Simultaneously, she acted as co-host on local Cleveland Television and Radio.  She was a known breeder of champion Dobermans, amazing artist and creative soul extraordinaire with a rapier wit.  She was a friend to all wild creatures. Her curiosity took her everywhere through countless books and travel. She could recite poetry with her eyes closed and knew every movie ever made, up to modern day.  Though life could challenge Carol, she met it every day with determination. Now, she rests in peace, and we pray with an immeasurable joy in the spirit of a giggling young girl who now possesses a knowledge so vast, we could scarcely grasp the concept.

Carol was predeceased by both parents, husband "Ab", brother John Charles Sobble, daughter in law Susan (Sheppard)Wilson, and granddaughter Emma Susanne Stewart.   She is survived by both of her children, Thos. M. (&Jude) Wilson, Ava Wilson (& Mike) Stewart, grandsons Miles (&Sara) Wilson, Sam Wilson, and great granddaughter, Olivia Carol.
