Carole J. Sedota, age 78, from Cicero, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2020, in Barefoot Bay, Florida where she resided in the winter, with her family at her side.  She was born March 28 ^th 1941, in Syracuse NY, to Ira and Helen (VanSlyke) Russell.  She worked as a legal secretary for CNA Insurance. Carole was a lifetime member of the South Bay Fire Department and a member of South Shore Rod & Gun Club.

She is survived by her husband, John; a daughter Kimmarie (Gary) Shavalier; a son Ralph B. Walker Jr. (Randy - & Barb Sequin); granddaughters Cassandra (Jason) Kilmer; Baylee Sedota; great-granddaughter Bella Marie Kilmer; step-son Lee (Carrie) Sedota and numerous cousins.

There will be a celebration of life ceremony to be announced at a future time.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carole's memory to the South Bay Fire Department, Cicero, NY.
