Carol Davis Pratt (lovingly known as "Granny") departed for Heaven on Monday, October 27th, 2014 while at her daughter's home in Florida. She had recently turned 75 years young on Oct. 7.

She was a long tenured employee at Bowman's Seafood House in Carolina Beach for many years before she retired. Carol was born in Watauga County, NC.

She is predeceased by her husband, Victor R. Pratt and most recently her granddaughter, Heather Jenkins and sister, Evelyn Bowman.

Her greatest joy in life was being involved with her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Carol leaves behind 7 children - Joann Arnold & spouse, Johnny, David Courtright, & spouse, Jane, Terri Porter & spouse, Joe, Susan Courtright, Steve Courtright, Wanda Pratt & spouse, John & Troy Pratt. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 remaining brothers, Jack & Jim Davis .

She will be forever missed by her family and the void will be felt in each of our lives.

The family will have a private ceremony in the mountains of NC the weekend of Nov. 8th, where her ashes will be scattered into the mountains she so loved!!
