Carree Anne Blacker passed away peacefully on December 5, 2016 with her parents Cheryl and Roger McCormick and best friend Angelia Gantz at her side. Carree was born September 4, 1974 in Greenfield, Indiana. She graduated from Mary Parsons High School in Forsyth, Georgia and had pursued a career as a Social Worker. Her desire was to assist others who suffered from End Stage Renal Disease as she did.

Carree had a love for life and will to live. Through all her battles she never gave up. She was a loving and caring person who would do anything for anybody. She was an ardent fan of Marilyn Monroe, which is obvious in her bedroom. She loved the beach, spending hours there. That is where she felt at peace and developed a pretty good sun tan in the process. Anyone that knows Carree, knows she could "shop till you dropped" which is also reflected in her bedroom.

Carree is survived by her parents, Roger and Cheryl McCormick, of Winter Beach, FL; brothers, Michael Wilson, of Belmont, CA, John Backer of Carson, CA, and Noah McCormick of Winter Beach, FL; sister, Janelle Osbourne, of Tracy, CA; and three nephews, Michael and Brian Wilson, and John R. Blacker all residing in California. Carree is also survived by her best friend, Angelia Gantz and her beloved Roxie. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country are also mourning her loss. Carree was predeceased by her father, Terry Blacker, and her grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL, 32958.
