Cathy Rae Green (Holland), 71 of Marblehead Lakeside, Ohio passed away April 26, 2021. She was born in Akron, Ohio to Bobby and Kay Holland on December 9, 1949. Cathy graduated from Norton High School in 1968. She married Andrew Raymond Green II on August 16, 1969.

Cathy was a homemaker while her children were in school. She was very active in the schools and was a great room mom. She and her family enjoyed many years of camping, boating and take taking vacations to the beach with many close family friends. When her kids were grown, she worked for the Apple Grocery store in late 1980's to the 2000's. She was the assistant produce manger. She enjoyed talking with the regular shoppers daily.

She enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, crochet, and many other arts and craft activities over the years. Cathy was an avid reader who loved to share a good book with others when they needed one. She didn't need a library card as she loved to go to garage sales and find many books to read. Her love for the beach and sun was undeniable. A perfect day for her was a good book on the beach with family and dear friends.

Cathy had a dual residency in Marblehead Lakeside, Ohio and Sebastian, Florida. She was able to spend the summer and early fall with her daughter and close friends. Then, she would pack up to go to Florida to spend time with her son and his family. She had many friends and loved ones in each town. She was a fun-loving person who loved music and the beach. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children Andrew Raymond Green III (Gayle) of Sebastian, Florida and Michelle Smith (Robbin) of Mansfield, Ohio. She had two grandchildren she adored Samantha Gianniny (Alex) and Andrew Raymond Green IV. She is also survived by her mother Kay Holland of Vinemont, Alabama and sister Cindy Holland, brothers Rick Holland, Robby Holland, and Raymond Holland.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Andrew Raymond Green II, and father Bobby Holland.

The family has decided to hold an open house/celebration of Cathy's life at a later date in Marblehead Lakeside, Ohio.
