Charlotte Ruth McNamee, 81, passed away on December 19, 2022. She was the wife of Lawrence McNamee Sr. They shared 57 years of marriage together and had four children.

Born in Queens, New York she was the daughter of Matilda and Edward Akerlind. She worked for many years as an office manager of a construction company and then switched to retail. She retired from A&S Department Store.

She was a long-standing member of the American Legion Auxiliary as well as the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians where she held the office of Sentinel. She will be remembered for her strength, love of family, sense of humor, and kindness. She loved spending time with family, fishing, boating, and shelling.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence Sr.; her sons Lawrence Jr. (Elizabeth), Thomas (Theresa), and Kenneth (Mary); her grandsons: Ryan, Thomas Jr., Robert, and Sean; and her great grandson Aidan, as well as her beloved dog Daisey. She is predeceased by her daughter Colleen and her granddaughter Deborah.

The wake will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S Fleming St, Sebastian, FL 32958. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 11:00am at St Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 US Highway 1, Sebastian, FL 32958.
