Cherie Michelle Ollie

November 21, 1971 - October 24, 2021

Cherie Ollie, 49, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 24th, 2021.

Cherie was born in Omaha, Nebraska and later moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa where she met Roy Ollie and they later married on February 4th, 1989. After settling in the Whiteman AFB, MO area, she worked for the Knob Noster School District where she filled many roles but wrapped up her last few years there as a kindergarten teacher. In 2018, Cherie and Roy relocated to Florida where she continued her love for teaching.

Cherie was an extraordinary woman that is loved and missed, and will always be cherished. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others and fill her home with warmth, kindness and laughter. Cherie's greatest love was her family, who she treasured every moment with. She especially valued her role as grandma, making sure to spoil her grandbabies with unconditional love and gifts.

The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew and loved her. When you think of Cherie, celebrate the good memories you have of her.

Cherie is survived by her husband, Roy Ollie; daughter, Brittany Wood and granddaughters Tara and Ally; son, Ryan Ollie, daughter-in-law Rachel Ollie and grandsons Wyatt and Mason; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Paula Ollie; her brother, Ron Moore and two sisters
