Obituary: Clarice M. Humphreys

Clarice M. Humphreys, 79, of Barefoot Bay, FL died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Sebastian, FL.

Mrs. Humphreys was born September 25, 1932 in Detroit, MI and moved to this area in 1985 from Michigan.

She had been a member of St Perpetua Catholic Church Woman's Auxillary in Waterford, Michigan, St. Lukes Catholic Church in Barefoot Bay, FL, the Michigan/Wisconsin/Minnesota Club, Barefoot Bay Golf and Country Club, Kiwanis Club, and was a past president of the Great Lakes Club of Barefoot Bay.

Survivors include: her son Robert (Cathy) Humphreys of Geneva, IL; son Paul (Judy) Humphreys of Davison, MI; son Charles Humphreys of Barefoot Bay, FL; daughters, Marleen (Jeff) Brandon of Grand Blanc, MI; Colleen Reuter (Gene) of Grand Blanc, MI; Elizabeth (Billy) Mumm of Sebastian, FL and Dorothy (Roger) Nelson also of Sebastian, FL; sister Felicite of Sterling Heights MI; eighteen grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and another great granddaughter due in June 2012

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Humpheys, brothers; Gerald, Theil, and Emery; sisters; Lorraine, and Lucille.


Service: The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, FL with a prayer service beginning at 7 PM.
