Daniel Joseph Gallen, 73, of Sebastian, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Sebastian Regional Medical Center. Dan was born November 29, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to Sebastian 16 years ago from Berlin, NJ. He worked many areas of the hospitality industry and most recently with Indian River Golf Club. Dan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Leona Gallen, three sons Richard Gallen of Lewes, DE, Daniel Gallen, Jr., of Jewett City, CT, and Jim Gallen of Phoenix, AZ, and a daughter Sharon Broccoli of Deptford, NJ.
Visitation will be Friday, July 1 from 5 to 6 PM at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 pm, the same day. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association 1101 Northchase Parkway Marietta, GA 30067.
