Daniel Lee Yates, 73, passed away March 13, 2019 in Vero Beach after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Fellsmere on February 16, 1946 he was the son of the late Wilford D. and Anna Louise (Moyers) Yates.  He was the beloved husband of Becky (Hammock) Yates, the loving father of Cheryl, Sonya Marie, Daniel, Jessica and Breyci Yates; grandfather of 8 grand, 7 great, and 3 great-great grandchildren; brother of Mary Lou Austin and step-brother of Annette Wix and Robert Lee French.

Daniel worked for many of his years in agriculture with his last as an irrigation developer.  He was a veteran of the Army having served in Vietnam.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Garcia's Boat Ramp, 3725 County Road 512, Fellsmere, FL 32948.
