David Lee Bryant, 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 20, 2018 at his home in Micco, FL. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Dugmore), son Lee and his wife Katrina of Wakefield, son Dana and his wife Susan of Niskayuna, NY, and son Shawn and his wife Laura of Reading. David was the proud grandfather of Daniel, Calvin, Austin, Emily, and Erik. He is also survived by his sister Lois Randall and her husband Paul. He was preceded in death by his first wife Sheila (Arakelian). Originally from Haverhill, he was the son of the late Robert and Mildred Bryant. David, a graduate of UMass, was the traffic engineer for the city of Cambridge for over 30 years. He was a long time resident of Reading and was a Master Mason for over 40 years with the Good Samaritan Lodge in Reading and an active member of the First Congregational Church of Reading for many years. David was an avid golfer and gardener and could often be found creating fine woodworking pieces in his workshop. He will be remembered and missed for his sense of humor and jack-of-all-trades skills. David was a lifelong fan of all the New England sports teams and was happy to finally see each capture a championship. Services are to be held at a later date.
