Deacon John Patrick Dunlop sadly passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 77. He was the husband of Patricia Dunlop whom he shared 52 years of marriage with; they were married since June 20,1970.

Born on March 13, 1946 in Queens, New York, he was the son of John and Mary Dunlop. Deacon John worked as a Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer for the ABC TV Station in Manhattan for 37 years.

Deacon John was ordained at St. Agnes Cathedral, Rockville Center, NY on June 2, 1990. He also became a Josephite Brother in New Orleans and Maryland. Deacon John was formerly of St. Luke's Catholic Church, Barefoot Bay, FL and St. Mary's Long Beach, NY  before becoming the Deacon of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, FL.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Dunlop; niece, Mary Ann Schember; and nephew, Thomas John Donnelly.

Deacon John's wake will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church (13075 US 1, Sebastian, FL 32958) on May 24, 2023 at 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. The funeral mass will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church on May 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
