Donald G. Bauer

Born in St. Paul, Mn., on November 27, l929, died on May 27, 2015, in Orlando, Fl.
Don was a wonderful husband for almost 60 years to Jean Bauer, who predeceased him on June 1, 2014. He said many times, "Her smile lit up the whole room!"
Don was a Korean War Veteran in the US Navy from 1950-1954, serving on an aircraft carrier, the USS Bataan. He was proud of his military service, and loved America. Don was also a member of the Elks and the American Legion.
Don loved his many dogs and his family, and was everyone's favorite Uncle.
There will be a mass said for Don on August 9th at St. Sebastian Catholic Church at 11:30. His funeral will be held in Detroit Lakes, Mn. on a future date.
