Doreya F Batista age 91 of Sebastian FL; died Wednesday February 13, 2013 at her home in Sebastian.
She was born December 7, 1921 in Cienfuegos, Cuba and had been a resident of Sebastian for 15 years moving here from Miami.
Prior to retirement in her early years she was an elementary school teacher in Miami and later worked for the Diario Las Americas Newspaper as a translator.
Members of her family include her son Mario A. and wife Louise Batista, Miami, a brother Armando Delafuente, St. Petersburg, FL; and two grandchildren, Marisa and Michael Batista, Miami. She was predeceased by her husband Max C. Batista.
