Dorothy S. Davis passed into the arms of our Father in heaven on Sunday morning, May 12, 2024. She was a beautiful and gracious Southern lady who loved her family and her friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years.  Dorothy was also predeceased by her brother David Skutt of Michigan.  She is survived by her two children, Wayne S. Davis (and Dianne) of North Carolina and Susan Davis Coard (and John Coard) of Florida; and her brother and sister-in-law (Dick and Mary Skutt) of Virginia. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and predeceased by one niece who was taken from us too soon.  Dorothy was a native Virginian graduating from Churchland High School in 1944.  She moved to Florida in 2013 with her husband to live near family.  Dorothy loved Virginia and we know she is happy to return to her native state to be buried next to her beloved husband.
