Eston Blair was born on March 15, 1944, in Belmont, St. James, Jamaica, to the late Ida Ricketts and Washington Blair. He attended Anchovy Primary School. In his teenage years, he moved to Montego Bay, where he learned plumbing and obtained a career with the Maffessanti Builders Construction Company. This job required him to work across many parishes in Jamaica.

In the spring of 1982, Eston migrated to the United States in search of a better life. There, he worked tirelessly as a plumber to create a brighter future.

In 1990, while at a social gathering, he met Dorothy Bennett, What began as a friendship grew into a lifelong partnership filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Through the years, they stood beside one another through life’s greatest joys and greatest challenges.

Eston is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy; his cherished children, Howard "Dave", Maxine, Annette "Paulette", Janet, Errol, Michelle, Teresa "Nadine", Rohan "Omar", Joan, Pollyann, and Ashley; his stepson Anthony; sisters Lucille, "BabyG" Jacqueline "Jasmin", brothers Peter and Kenneth, 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Though we will miss you deeply, your love and kindness will remain with us always. Sleep in eternal peace. You will never be forgotten.
