Edgar Grant McKnight, Jr.(Santa) born September 21, 1951 passed away at Holmes Regional Hospital October 23, 2011 at 10:44 AM from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was preceded in death by his father, Grant McKnight and his sister Connie Callahan. He is survived by his mother Virginia Reed, nephews Robbie Nash and Mark Goble of Dalton Georgia, cousins Gibby Gilbert, Brenda Matherson of Chattanooga, TN, and Debbie Nelson of Davie FL and many friends. Eddie was a professional Santa for 13 years. He loved that job, making children happy.

He will be missed by:
Keith who could correct all wrongs,
Jimmy Jam, who taught him many things,
Dennis, his first friend at the fairs, and
the JDQ Band-Pat, John and Pete. He sometimes sang with them.

These people made up Eddie's life. To you, Many Thanks. MOM

Funeral service is Friday October 28, 2011 at 11:00am at Seawinds Funeral Home with viewing from 10:00am to 11:00am. Entombment at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
