Born October 5, 1936 in Orange, NJ; passed into heaven March 30, 2016. Predeceased by her husband of 52 ½ years, Francis W. McDermott.

Organist and choir director in Esperance, NY for 27 years and for the past 13 years in Sebastian, FL.

Edna's love of music, her association with the churches and square dancing have contributed to her many wonderful friends she's made over the years including a few very cherished childhood friends that she has stayed in touch with as well as special neighbor's and friends that have taken very good care of her.

Survived by her sister Jane (Jack) Scannell; her four children - Bonnie (Jeffrey) Zanger; Sherrie (Steve/Mote) VanDyke; Scott (Diane) McDermott; Dale (Robin) McDermott as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in Florida and Upstate New York; dates to be determined.
