Edna's story started back in Brooklyn New York July of 1941 into the JapNgie family. Her parents were Egbert and Katie JapNgie. There were 10 siblings 7 boys and 3 girls. She comes from a family of merchant marines, and taught us pride, honor, and respect for family and friends. She was loving and caring and always loved to entertain. Disney and traveling were a big part of who she was.

She is survived by her husband James Perez, her sons James, Richard, and her daughter Catherine, Son In-Law David, and Daughters In-Law Judy and Debbie, along with her 3 grandchildren Katie, Derek, Danielle and Great Granddaughter Izabella.

She was also a beloved aunt and is survived by 16 nieces and 9 nephews.

She was loved by everyone who met her and left a lasting impression on everyone. She will always be loved and missed, and never forgotten.
