Edward M. Vesely Jr of Sebastian, Florida, 30 year resident of Park Place, passed away on 9/19/2024.

Born 3/19/1940 (84) In Manhattan, New York to Dorothy (Van Etten) and Edward M. Vesely Sr.

He graduated Lindenhurst High School in 1958, then went on to serve his country in the Air Force from 1958-1962.

He married Lorraine Dougherty on March 5th 1966. She pre deceased him on 6/21/2021

He was a Police Officer with the Suffolk County, New York Marine Bureau for 26 years, during which time he was a volunteer firefighter for the Lindenhurst, New York Fire department. He also operated the Fire Island Ferry's part time.

Ed was a man who was Always willing to lend a hand, a joke or a story to his friends. Everyone he knew spoke very highly of him. He was well loved!

He is survived by his partner Dolores Little, son Eric (Leslie) Vesely, daughter Heather (David) Bowen, sister Barbara Romano, grandsons Mathew and Brayden, nephews Michael, Christopher and Jason, nieces Linda and Beth, along with many other family and friends.
