Elliott Lou Walker Brainard, born on March 21, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, in Sebastian, Florida. Though his time on earth was brief, Elliott brought immense joy and love to those who had the privilege of knowing him. His precious smiles and gentle presence touched the hearts of his family and will forever be cherished.
Elliott is deeply loved by his parents, Austin Brainard and Nevaeh Smith along with our pup Trigger.
He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, William Brainard and Faith (Samuel) Vasquez; his maternal grandmother, Amber Gatza; his paternal great-grandparents, Gary Reed and Bonnie Taylor; and his maternal great-grandmother, Patricia (Misha) Beck. Additionally, he is remembered by his great-great-grandmothers, Sandy Rich, Marilyn Eakin & Doris Logan; his aunts Savannah (Hayden) Brainard, Misha Dixon, Lonna Beck and Chevi Brainard; uncles Trenton Frederick, Tyler (Coral) Neal, and Eli Vasquez; great-aunts Amber Brainard and Shawna Walsh; great-uncles Marc Brainard and Harald Gatza; as well as many beloved cousins including Gracelyn Scott, Hopelyn Scott, Mariah Brainard, Maranda Brainard, Zion Neal and Nyoca Kracht.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandfathers Robert (Kelly) Brainard and Richard Andrew Gatza; his great-grandmother Margaret (Carol) Reed; and his aunt Courtney Puckett; his cousin Liam Nolan Scott.
Though Elliott's time here was short, he was surrounded by boundless love. His parents find comfort in knowing that he is watching over them from heaven. "Mommy & Daddy loved you so so much and would do anything to have you back. We know GOD had a bigger purpose for your life and we find comfort knowing you're in heaven looking down and protecting mommy & daddy. We love you and we miss you dearly."
A viewing will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian followed by a Funeral Service at 2:30 with Pastor Morgan Gilkey officiating. A reception will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the VFW in Sebastian.
Elliott's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest peacefully in the arms of angels.
