Elwood G (Woody) Cox Jr., died suddenly Monday March 23, 2015 in Orlando, FL while working.

From his birth in Wilmington DE to his death on Monday he nourished the people around him with his love and strength. He was the "number one man" in many lives; a kind, thoughtful, caring man, Woody took great pride in his family and loved them unconditionally. He was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Elwood G Cox and Joan Patton Cox. He is preceded in death by his father and his oldest son Elwood G. (Little Woody) Cox III. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle and three other children, Danielle (Chris) and John, and his stepdaughter Mariah Rose. He has 4 grandchildren: Amanda, Christopher, Courtney, and Riley; His mother Joan Cox and two sisters, Linda (Ron) and Patsy (Ernie). Woody was a truck driver, or as he liked to say a "relocation engineer". He was an owner operator and drove cross country for over 35 years.

A memorial service will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 S. Fleming St. Sebastian, FL 32958 on Saturday March 28, 2015. There will be a gathering for friends and family at 10:00 at the Funeral Home with services to follow at 11:00.
