Emile Ouellette, Jr., 84, of Vero Beach, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1927, in Salem, MA, and moved to Barefoot Bay 28 years ago from Peabody, MA. Emile was owner of Emile's Wholesale Meat and Byproducts in MA, and worked at Barefoot Bay Community Pool. He was a member of the Barefoot Bay Golf and Country Club, the New England Club of Barefoot Bay, and Knights of Columbus in MA. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Audrey Ouellette of Vero Beach, son William Ouellette of Lynn, MA, two daughters, Kathleen Mulgrew of Indiana, PA, and Lori Devereaux of Londonderry, NH, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and sister Rita Downing of Swampscott, MA. He is predeceased by three brothers, Phillip, Raymond, and Ernest. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011, 11:00 am, at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian. Reception will follow at St. Sebastian Catholic Church Fellowship Hall.
