Enid F. Edwards died peacefully in her sleep on May 27, 2012. She was born in Evanston, IL on January 31, 1945. Enid grew up in Lakeland, FL, graduated from Lakeland HS. She received her BA from FSU and a MA in Counseling from Cleveland State University.

Enid lived, worked and had two children while teaching for 4 years with her husband at Ferdowsi University in Mashhad, Iran. Back in the US, she worked as a mental health counselor with adults and troubled teens in Ohio, Florida and Utah. Retiring to Sebastian, FL in 2010, she was a member of the Vero Beach Meditation and Study Group.

Survivors include her husband and partner for 48 years, Dennis Edwards of Sebastian, FL her daughters Susan Edwards of South Hero, VT, Deborah Filsinger of Sebastian, FL, her granddaughter, Margaret Lily Pomykala of South Hero, VT, and her sister Karen Cayes of Dunwoody, GA.

Services will be private, but memorial contributions may be made to "The Food Pantry of Indian River County" at 2206 16th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
