Gene had a beautiful and full life. He worked for IBM for 32 years. After he retired, he then worked for Wells Fargo for an additional 10 years. In his early years, Gene also served our nation in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. During his travels, Gene was able to see the world and even learn some German and Dutch, which obviously inspired his collection of German mugs. Gene was a well respected man in both his military life and career. He was a dedicated family man. He donated to many charities and had a smile that could light up a room.

He was survived by his wife Suzanne Seymour, his two sons Mark and Gary Seymour, his step children Francine Subero and Wayne Worchel, grandchildren Austin, Hailey, Andrea, Alexander, Derrick and Jennifer, and great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of his life will be held for his family at a later date, and his final resting place will be at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
