Obituary

Frank Willard Leroux, 75, of Micco, Florida, passed away peacefully, September 2, 2015 with his family by his side.

He was born to the late Everett and Elsie Leroux on September 5, 1939 in Fond de Lac, Wisconsin. He attended Fond de Lac High School and DeVry University in Chicago, and he served in the Army Reserves for four years.
He married Sharon Addis in Green Bay, WI on March 24, 1962, living in various areas of the country, including, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, St. Petersburg, and Ft. Lauderdale, where he and his wife owned a yacht brokerage until retiring to Micco, Fl in 2003.

Frank and his family spent many weeks cruising in the Bahamas and Coastal Florida. He enjoyed amateur radio as he loved talking with people around the world. He was KB4LVW. Since the early 90s he and the family were very much into raising Rhodesian Ridgebacks and showing them at AKC dog shows. Camping at show sites in his motor home. Frank became well known for his after the show barbeques. He dearly loved his home in Micco and wished to stay forever.

Frank is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters Janine Leroux of Mt. Sterling, KY and Lyndia (Leroux) Gelpi of Pompano Beach, FL; sister, Joan (Leroux) Peabody of Cummings GA; and grand-daughters of Pompano Beach, FL, Samantha Gelpi, and Megan Gelpi.

A Celebration of Life - Open House will be held at the Leroux residence at 9799 Fleming Grant Road, Micco, FL 32976, Sunday afternoon, September 13, 2015 from 3-6pm

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of Vero Beach.
