Obituary

Fred Norman Hujus, 92, of Sebastian Florida passed away April 25 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Fred was born in Spring Valley, New York to Mel and Viola Hujus.  For 70 years, he was a devoted and loving husband to wife Ruth Hujus (Brinkerhoff) of Rockland Lake, New York.  He was an incredible role model to his four children:  Fred Jr. (Karen) of Garnerville, NY; Jeannine Reiersen (Wayne) of Maryville, Tennessee; John (Nyn) of Cleveland, Tennessee and Bob (Victoria) of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  He will be lovingly missed by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The family would like to give a special thanks to Jim and Debbie Duffy of Palm Bay, Florida.  A man among men, there wasn't anything that Fred couldn't do.  He was talented in all aspects of home improvements, renovation and plumbing.  Fred retired from Lederle Labs in 1987.  He was predeceased by his brother Bill and sisters Ada, Roberta and Marilyn. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Everyone that knew him loved his incredible kindness and sense of humor.  There was nothing that he loved more than to fish off his dock that he built with his own hands...a very special man.  Donations may go to Hospice of St. Francis, 1250-B Grumman Place, Titusville FL 32780.
