Mr. Frederick Louis Porth, 93, of Sebastian, FL. Served in the United States Navy WWII and Army National Guard. He retired from Lucent Technologies, also known as Bell Laboratories, in 1987, where he held a position as an Electrical Designer in Research and Development for 35 years. He was a part of the Vero Beach Radio Amateur Club, as well as a member in Legion Post 54 Freehold, NJ, and Post 0189 Sebastian, FL. He was a member of Lucent Pioneers and volunteered his time building handicapped ramps. Fred enjoyed square dancing, as he was a member of the Square Dancing Club from 1972 to 2006. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Eleanor Marie Porth. Surviving are his three children- Denise Ferguson of Vero Beach, FL, Edward Porth of Freehold, NJ, and Marc Porth of Loris, SC. He has ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
