Frederick Edward Weiser Jr., 78, Barefoot Bay, FL., passed away on February 24, 2013 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born in Newark, NJ., on September 16, 1934 and had been a resident of Barefoot Bay, FL., for 14 years coming from Old Bridge, NJ.
Mr. Weiser was in the 101st airborne in the United States Army and served in the Korean War.
Before retirement he was a General Supervisor for Sunshine Biscuit Company.
Mr. Weiser was of Catholic Faith.
He was a life member of the VFW Post 133 in East Brunswick, NJ., and a member of the American Legion Post 189, Sebastian, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Joyce Schumacher Weiser, Barefoot Bay, FL., daughters; Dawn Wright, Parlin, NJ., Debra Hornchak, South River, NJ., Donna Schumacher, South River, NJ., sons; Karl Weiser, Perth Amboy, NJ., Richard Schumacher, Old Bridge, NJ., David Schumacher, Old Bridge, NJ., sister; Kathleen Farr, West Kingsburg, NJ., 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by parents; Frederick and Josephine Weiser, brother; Robert Weiser
A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
