George T. Golding, 92, of Sebastian passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017. His daughters were with him.

He was born in Quincy, MA on April 3, 1924 to the late George and Grace Golding. George was a Seaman First Class U.S. Navel Reserve. Received his BS from Boston University and his Master of Education in Bridgewater State University. Taught at North Quincy High School for many years. Married Alberta C. Reed on June 12, 1948. They had three children.

His favorite pleasures in life were drawing, painting watercolors, reading and listening to jazz.

George was survived by his son Late James E. Golding, daughters Dawn E. Gauthier and Cynthia Brotherton-Gonzalez. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A gathering is scheduled for Friday, January 13, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL 32958. With a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel.
